Editorial Policy

Standards for specification analysis, source handling, and public corrections.

Source Verification & Spec Auditing

Our editorial workflow systematically cross-references published manufacturer schematics, marketplace vendor sheets, and material declarations. We apply explicit standards to differentiate declared vendor marketing from verifiable physical boundaries:

Declared Dimensions & Mass
Listed in metric units (mm and g) alongside supplier declarations to highlight carrying trade-offs.
Unconfirmed Seller Claims
Marketing phrases such as “leakproof guarantee” or “artist-grade pigment” are noted as unverified vendor claims rather than established facts.

Prohibited Editorial Claims

  • No fabricated laboratory stress tests or simulated field trials.
  • No invented academic or professional credentials for editorial personas.
  • No guarantees of individual artistic outcomes or indefinite hardware longevity.
  • No unverified claims regarding non-standard pigment permanence without manufacturer binder data.

Corrections Standard

When vendor specifications change, sizing discrepancies are identified, or pan configurations are revised by manufacturers, articles are updated to reflect the most accurate available documentation.
